Futuroscope

The French cinema theme park. A full day's entertainment using some of the best cinema technology available today, including iMAX theatre, 'Mission to Mir' 3D film, high-definition theatre and the excellent 'Cinema Dynamique' where you're taken on a thrilling fantasy roller coaster ride, complete with moving seats and wind machine.

Puy du Fou

This famous historical theme park is less than an hour's drive from Le Bas Plessis. Here you can enjoy the Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc) story, together with a recreation of the Battle of the Donjon, a Roman love story in the Amphitheatre Gallo-Romain complete with thundering chariots! One of the highlights is the incredible falconry show, with over 40 birds are in the air at the same time! 2003 will see a new theatre built so that even more people can enjoy this spectacle.

If you have any energy left, at certain times during the summer (we can advise!), the evening Spectacle is held, where a truly unique show is held on the lake in front of the old Chateau, including a dramtic firework show.

Pescalis

Recently opened, the Pescalis angling and outdoor pursuit centre encompasses many local attractions and provides for superb fishing. If you don't fancy straying too far from your door, you are welcome to fish on our lake.

Chateau St. Mesmin

A beautiful 14th century fortified chateau in the process of being renovated. Historical re-enactments in July and August.
